Gary McCartney was named chief financial officer for Volvo Trucks North America and Mack Trucks, Volvo Group announced May 16.
Volvo Group said his appointment was effective March 1.
He succeeds Ken Trolle, who was named executive vice president and CFO for VE Commercial Vehicles, the Volvo Group and Eicher Motors joint venture.
McCartney
McCartney first joined the company in 2001. He has been working as the global CFO and senior vice president of finance for Volvo Financial Services since 2014. He spent four years as chief financial officer for VFS Americas prior to that and three years as president of VFS Canada.
He also worked for more than six years as CFO for VFS Canada. Prior to joining the company McCartney was a controller for Dell Financial Services and an auditor for Arthur Andersen. — Transport Topics
